I've got very good news to alert everyone of this post! I attended an open casting call for a modeling agency in MA. You know, the usual. Fill out forms, show resume, compcard, and do a small video audition. Well, if you couldn't tell already fromt this post, I got signed!! Its non-exclusive, which is fantastic. I just hope I get some jobs. They already gave me an audition for a runway hair show for Joico Products. ^_^ Anyway, back to puttering around the house.

I got a job! 20/hr doing promotional modeling! ^_^
Scott got the install disk from Josiah and the iMac is now up and fully functional! Its so wonderful to be able to check my mail via a spam filtering mail program instead of spending a half hour trying to sort through all the junk on Horde... and inevitably deleting the mail I was supposed to get. I'm gonna get all my harddrive disks out and put my modeling images on here with my writing. Its so great to have access to those things again.
Brian hired me for New England this Saturday, and Ms. Everson hired me for the NIWFAs at Smith on the 3rd, which is all very good as I am in neeeeeeed for the cash! Hopefully I'll nail my audition tomorrow for the promotional modeling gig I mentioned in my last post. ::knock on wood::
Scott and I have entered in a 5 mile trail run in VA the 11th of March. I'm very excited. From their website:
"The Vasque Backyard Burn is a series of 5 and 10 mile trail running races held on some of the best trail networks in the Northern Virginia Area. All the courses include a mixture of forested fire roads, twisty hiking trails, several stream crossings, grassy fields, and minimal pavement." (http://www.ex2adventures.com/byb-spring.php) Its gonna be good preparation for the Holyoke 10K on the 17th. Scott was showing one of his apartments to the guy who owns the Board Room over in NoHo and he was saying his friends run it every year painted green and drinking beer the whole way! Now thats the kind of laid back race that I'm about! lol Although I don't really drink because I think alcohol tastes like ass and makes me feel dreadful and ill. ::shrug:: But I can still have a pint in honor of the holiday. I mean I AM half Irish. ^_~
Yesterday we ran outside because it was 48 degrees out! It was really nice. We did a 3.5 mile circuit and I felt good about it. I just hope I don't lag too bad on the 11th. Don is running it too with us (Scott's best friend from forever ago :) ) and he sent us a training website. Its got all the training that hes doing every day on it. So when we look and see that Dons run 4 miles today and we're still sitting on the couch, well we'll have to get up and run so that Don can't call us pussies! ^_^ Its the most effective training method. lol Alright, I'm gonna go start one of my sewing projects. More effective posting will be seen since the new comp is up.

Computer is still broken. But I'm waiting on an install disk to update the iMac that Josiah gave to me FOR FREE. Yay with the hookups at college tech depts. Sure its not my sweet sweet Pbook, but it beats having to use windows. :P Scott is doing fine. The house is coming along. Hes in the kitchen right now setting up the sink and blaring 80s rock. <3 We went to Carmelina's for dinner on Valentine's Day. It was very nice. He said he was disappointed because the food used to be much better. However, this was only my second time there so I like it. Ignornance is bliss, as they say. He did love his filet mignon, though. And my veal marsala was yummy. We made a reservation and still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated! And then it took another 20 minutes for a waitress to realize we'd been sat! Yeah, we're definitely not going there again soon. Scott said we'd do Spoleto next, and I'm excited because I've never been there at all. Not even half a foot in the door. Should be interesting. Any good excuse to dress up nicely, which btw Scott does so well! I think he outdressed me for Carmelina's. hehe He looked smashing in his new tailored pants and muted sage shirt. ^_^ In other news, the job front is still hazy (try again later ^_~). I've been refereeing any event I can get hired for. (If you're looking at this and you need a foil referee for a New England/CT tournie you should email me! I'm a 6!) Shameless, I know. Anyway, I'm working NIWFAs at Smith, and I'm hoping that Brian will hire me for New Englands. Scott says they're always desperate for refs so hopefully its not too late since I only emailed Brian this morning. I also have to email John and see if I can get hired for nationals. Scott wants me to come and I knowwwww Suji does :D I want to chill with my sista pool side with some coronas for the first time LEGALLY! I've been doing a ton of modeling lately. Only TFCD stuff, but I've got some cash gigs I'm trying to land. Check out the port for new images: www.abuginajar.com/pictures.html I'm working with a bunch of students at the Hallmark Institute of Photography over in Turners Falls. They're great. Its so much fun to work with them and their ideas. Its a worthwhile experience because we're all at the same begining point in our careers. So I'm learning skills and stuff, and thats cool! :D I'm still waiting to hear back about casting for a graphic novel I auditioned to model for called "The Dam" by Daveion R Lashley. I should hear something within the next few days. I hope I get a part. I really like the artist's work and it would be pretty freaking cool to be in a graphic novel! I was just on the phone with a guy from International Models and Talent who picked up my information and, liking what he saw, is sending me to an audition for a promotional modeling gig in Springfield. Now this would be sweeeeeeet. Its for a Beer and Wine company. $20/hr to hand out free sample drinks! Very cool. ^_^ And the only other lead I have right now is with Xtreme tanning. They're trying to schedule a test shoot with me sometime this month or maybe the begining of next month for a tanning salon out in Boston. Sounds very cool. I'm just waiting to hear back about the date of the shoot. Anyway, I'm just hoping to get a foot in the door SOMEHOW. ^_~
I'm exhausted. I just drove to and from Prise. Four hours of driving later... I passed the test! (in all parts :) ) Just in time to work the Sword in the Snow. Yay, I accomplished one of goals on my New Year's List ahead of time!

To People Who Suck Their Cheeks In In Every Photograph: You look like an idoit sucking on a lemon. Please stop. No one thinks its sexy, and it sure as hell doesn't makes you look skinnier. Also, come one people, stop using your Blue Steel look in candid shots. Less posing more realism! Naturally occuring beauty is truly stunning, forcing that... well you might as well suck your cheeks in and make the kissy face.

Directing for the scrimmage on Sat in prep for Big One was fun. I had a good time and felt pretty confident about my calls and abilities to not make Brian Bower kill me with disdain this Sat. ^_^ Scott and I went to a mixed foil at Seacost in New Hampsters. I'm so glad we went. I'm so glad I quit my job and didn't have to go to work AND got to go fence instead. Too much directing for Kt makes her want to fence SOOOOO bad. (Not the quality of fencing, the desire to fence... I realize that sentence is a bit screwy.) Met new people in a new DIV. We're making lots of friends all over now between the berkshire DIV and now the green mountain DIV. Met a girl named Maya Nathan who fences for Dartmouth and also out of the Brooklyn Fencing Center. She was very good and very nice. We'll get to see her at Big One. I'm also stoked to be seeing Christie Shu at Big One. I haven't seen her since the Ukraine. She rocks my socks. Amazingly sweet girl and wonderful fencer. I def could see her in the top 8 for women's foil on Sat. Lord knows I'm rooting ^_^. Oh yeah and of course for Suji to be there too. If she shows up... theres gonna be some hot asian men being hosted in her dorm room... 'nough said. Wouldn't blame her lol. Annnnnyway, long and the short is I got a shiny medal for second place and Scott got a shiny medal for first! lol. We conquered the joint ;) jp He's got medal envy though. Second place's is way cooler. Its like a circle in a crazy inward collapsed square, where as first is just circular. As he was putting out medal on the mantle he remarked, "Damn it! Your's is even heavier than mine! Next time I'm shooting for second." hehehe But I needed today. I've been feeling all depressed and down about life. A little fun and a confidence/ego boost sure feels nice. ^_^ Alright, I'm grody. Time to hit the showers.
I quit my job this morning. Heres hoping I get a new one tomorrow! The Five College Scrimmage is tomorrow. Smiths going so Scotts going I'm going; to ref. Help out and stuff. :) Support the team. Then on Sunday we're going to a USFA tournie. Open Epee for Scott. Open foil for Scott and I. I'm very excited!

Scott and I went to the RPI open in Troy on Sunday. I didn't fence because I wasn't feeling well, but Scott fenced foil and sabre. He hasn't fenced since Jan. competitively. He did alright in foil, but was a bit rusty and lost in the second round of DEs. He got his groove back in sabre after a frustrating begininng. Wound up taking second. I was very proud. ^_^ He won a pocket knife (all black even the blade) and a Boba Fett pez dispenser! fantastic. I refeed a bit of the mixed foil and then needed to stop. I was getting some back pains. It was a good day. A lot of guys were hitting on me while Scott was on strip. They'd chat me up with a "so why are you here if you're not fencing?" And I'd point to Scott and say, "I'm watching my boyfriend fence." ^_^ They'd end the convo and walk away. lol. The coach of RPI came up to us at the end of the event and said to Scott, "You're a very lucky man. Shes gorgeous." ::blush:: Anyway, it was a good say. Theyre was much fencing and much cuddling.
Moved, but not yet settled into the house in Easthampton. Theres still some work to be done on the room where my stuff will be: bed, desk, dresser, etc. By "some" I mean we still need to put the dry wall up. hehehe. Its been busy here with me running out trying to file applications of jobs and go to job interviews, and Scott working on the Funk and Bolton project. Today I helped him find online versions of administrative and statute laws for a lot of the states while he linked them on the site. Got a good deal done. I'm really glad to be helping because I know how stressed for time he is on this. Its bit of an impossible deadline for just one person, unless he works all day and well into the night. Obviously I prefer him with some free time for movie watching and cuddling. ^_^ We're probably going to go to the Paradise City Art Festival at the Fair Grounds on Saturday with Tony and Diane, which will be really nice because the last time (also first time) Scott hung out with Tony and Diane it was at the Tunnel Bar. It was sooooo loud and crowded in there I don't think anyone really heard eachother that well. Plus Terence followed us, and he was so drunk no one could shake him. Eh, so is life. Walking around a cutesy artsy fair will be the perfect atmosphere to remedy the first ill encounter. Its nice to be back in town and see my good friends. Kaity and I went to Taco Bell on Monday and it was fantastic. So much fun. We almost didn't make it, but we figured out the way! Stupid Smithies for closing down the one in Hadley. The next closest one is in Chicopee. I also got to see Eric for a bit that afternoon. Hes just signed the lease on a new place down the block from Kaity's and I'm very excited for him. Its his first apartment alone ever. The first time he's ever signed a lease! lol aww everyone's growing up. Then I saw Tony for a bit last night. Hung out and watched the Project Runway reunion episode, as well as a side splittingly hilarious new South Park. They ripped on WoW! It was so spot on. Reminded me of D&D and trying to get Pat to stop playing long enough to DM. hehe I got two job offers this morning. One for full timw work at CNS doing customer service and billing, but it only ran until Jan. so I turned down the offer. The Blue Heron, a restaurant located in Sunderland (very nice, very fancy, feature in this months Bon Appetit (www.blueherondining.com) ), offered me a job working about 25 hours a week 8am-2pm as their Administrative Assistant. Basically the personal assistant to the owner, the manager, and the head chef/second owner. They're really nice people. The two owners are these very sweet older women, very smith alumnae vibe to them, but you know in a good way. lol The only down side is I dont get two days off in a row. I get Tuesdays and Saturdays off, which means I can't go to Sunday USFA tournament, at least not right away. After I've been working there for a bit I'm sure I can ask for the day off or say I'll work later another day/come in on Tuesday or Saturday. The good part is they are guaranteeing a raise after three months. I've been waiting for so long I forgot what a raise was. lol So I figure between that job and a waiting job (Tony said to stop by Sierra Grill and fill an app out and he'll try and help me land a job there) I should be ok enough to start saving some money. ::knock on wood:: I'm also waiting to hear back on a job as a billing coordinator, which would be full time 9-5, but only M-F. If I can get that I'll probably take it for sure. Although the Heron would be a good job to get me another job. Well I guess I've just got to see what works out. I'm glad today seems better than yesterday. I woke up a bit in the dumps about my state of affairs, but things seem to be working themselves out. ::knock on wood:: I've got to email John Moss about taking the written test and being observed so I can ref at Big One. Apparently theres a tournie that same day at Penn State, so the event here will def be short staffed. Plus I really want to ref it. ^_^ Hoping to go to the RPI open. Get back into competitive fencing. Although I'm feeling very fat and lazy... kind of like flex :D I def should get my act together soon. Scott has been setting the alarm for 7:30am the past two days trying to get us up for a morning run, but no success yet. Fingers crossed for tomorrow though, hehe. Its ok, yesterday I worked out with the Smith Team for 3 hours and today I did my pilates. Tomorrow more fencing, and running, oh my, and maybe pilates as well! Aim big I guess. I think thats enough for now. A lot has happened and its been awhile since the last post, but any more would be too much. Scott will be back from Jim's any minute anyway. Then I'm thinking tea, the couch, a movie, and the big warm blanket.
Its a bit long to explain, but after much discussion and deep thought, I'm moving back to Western Mass. Just til Suji graduates and then we're gonna get a place in the city together. Everything is far too expensive for one person to be able to afford. I'd have to work 3/4 jobs just to pay the rent and have food to eat. If I take a day off to go to an audition and then I don't get the part I'm out a day's wages, and when you're living hand to mouth that can really f*ck you over. Its the adult thing to do to admit when things just aren't gonna work. If theres a better way I have to take it. I'm moving back to MA to save as much $ as I can and hang out with all the people up there that I already miss: Kaity, Eric, Tony, Diane, SUJI!!, Taylor (she's gonna be stoked to hear about this), and most of all Scott. I'm gonna go to the Big E with Kaity and I'm so excited ^_^. So yeah, I'm moving in with Scott, which is a really big step for our relationship, but a lot of people say it should be fine, actually really good. I've never lived with someone I'm seeing so I'm a bit scared/nervous. But I really dig him ::blush:: so I'm hoping for the best. The past few weeks we spent together were really really fabulous so I hope it remains that way. I just need to get a job. Anyone know any openings? Also to all my friends in the city I have yet to see: I'm leaving Sat, and I want to see you guys! Aaron, Radha, Jeff, Dwayne (maybe chill one more time? ^_^ ) Call/IM me and lets work something out. Radha I'll keep you posted on Wed afternoon, and Jeff you've got the night. Aaron and Dwayne get into action! :P Well of to lunch...
This is mostly so I can show people and get an opinion on what they think of the place. Kristin! Pay attention! :P Its on the second floor of a small walk up. You go in the front door and are in: The Hall/Entrance
 To the right: The Bedroom
 Inside the Bedroom
Directly infront of the hallway/entrance: The Bathroom
To the left of the hallway: The Kitchen/Livingroom
 Another view of the Kitchen/Livingroom

The guy was very trepadacious about renting because I'm currently unemployed. However, I walked down the street a bit to my brother's favourite restaurant and just gave them my cell number and said if they're looking to hire to call me. NOT FOURTY MINUTES LATER the owner calls me. They ARE hiring waitresses, and he wants me to come in with my resume and do an interview at 4pm on Monday. Well he wanted me in immediately, but I'm out on the guyland and by the time I made it out there, on a Saturday night, the place would be way too busy for an interview. I got a family thing tomorrow cause my sister is coming into town. She wants to go shopping on Monday. Phew good thing I made that interview for late; don't want to interfer with shopping! ; )
I love you Soupbowls.

My future will be spent with those who want me not with those who constantly seek to leave me
My future will be spent with those who believe in me not those who seek ways to disprove me
My future will be spent with those who appreciate me not those who take all I have then call themselves poor
My future will be spent with those who love me not with those who are lonely in my presence
My future will be spent with those who lift me up not with those whom I correctly anticipate hurting me
My future will be spent with those who make me bloom not with those who cast me in their shadow
My Future will be spent with those who want to be with me not with those who seek to exclude me
I've crossed out the ones that don't apply to me:
You know you’re a Smithie if…
1. You have a homemade patch sewn on your jacket/bag/jeans/hat, all of the above.
2. You can count your heterosexual friends on one hand.
3. You've ever had to console a friend for getting a B+ on an essay.
4. You've been to more than 5 vigils in your four years.
5. You've been to more than 5 walk-outs in your four years.
6. You've ever used the words: 'normative, social construct, hegemony, problematic, imperialism, or post-structuralist' in more than one conversation.
7. You diss people who go to UMASS, Hampshire, Mount Holyoke and Amherst.
8. You're afraid to go to Holyoke and/or Springfield although you've never been to either place.
9. You own a nalgene.
9.5. Your nalgene is covered with so many stickers that no one can tell what the liquid is inside of the nalgene.
9.75. At least one of those sticks is a rainbow flag, inverted triangle, Venus sign, human rights campaign, and/or ani difranco/alix olson or random band sticker.
10. You know that Turn it Up is better than B-Side....when really, downtown sounds is the best. This is a moot point anyway. B-Sides closed down.
12. You can *tell* what region of campus someone is from just by looking at them.
13. Half of the first years in your house have shorter hair now then they did when the first arrived, dyed their hair, their noses are pierced, have a tattoo, hooked up w/ one of their friends, and/or 'finally' came out of the closet.
14. You double-take when you see men, automatically thinking they are just butch or binding.
15. Your favorite word is empowering. “I wiped my ass today. It was so empowering”.
16. You "feel" like it's March 15th. I most certainly do NOT. I feel emotions, not ideas, times, and events!
17. You go to a party off-campus and expect public safety to show up. All parties are off-campus, otherwise why would I go?
18. Your second favorite word is "issues". “We all have ‘issues’”
19. You no longer notice the noise of the 2am dance party on the floor above, the overplayed hip-hop music the next room over, or your phone ringing for the person who moved houses two semesters ago. Moot point, again. I moved off campus the cause you can still hear "crazy bitch" even in dead silence.
20. You find yourself thinking your bathroom at home has too little “character".
21. You actually begin to believe that the Republican party is responsible for all the evil in the world. (But aren't they?)
21.5. You think all democrats are a herd of conformist, thought policing, and intolerant sheep.
22. You yearn for grilled cheese sandwiches like there’s no tomorrow. (Yeah, what does this have to do with Smith?)
23. You philosophize about whether wearing that dirty sweatshirt is truly more or less agreeable than dragging your laundry down four flights of stairs.
24. You don't judge when you need to do laundry by when you run out of underwear, because you don't wear underwear.
25. You're disappointed when you get home because there is no vegan cutlet. The very idea! EW, Vegan cutlet.
26. You've ever used unnecessary acronyms when talking to people who do not go to Smith...and are confused when they are confused.
27. Whenever you hear a young male's voice (in class, in your house) you jump/arch your neck/run to see it.
28. During room draw, one of your housemates cried at the possibility of having a roommate sophomore year.
29. At least six of your daily conversations begin with, "So today Ernest Benz (or other prof's name) did such and such..."
30. You know where the Man House is and have been flashed by one of its' residents1. (awww yeah!)
31. Homework parties are cool! Really... Homework?
32. You have seen a giant vagina dance around in the quad at least two years running (Celebration of Sisterhood). Never been. Vaginas are scary.
33. The college president comes to tea at your house with THE SMILE.
34. Target (via the PVTA) is a really exciting place.
35. You've sledded down Bedford Terrace.
36. You eat whipped topping topped with whipped topping for dessert.
37. You know the words to Gaudeamus Igitur.
38. You notice the *scent* of a young man (in your house, in class) from more than 3 feet away.
39. You've been stared down by a squirrel or two.
40. You've had discussions about/contemplated having sex behind the staircase in Neilsen.
41. You catch yourself saying "I feel--"
42. You've ever said "oh, that's so heteronormative," even if you are straight.
43. You no longer freak out when you professor explains that the mean on the exam was a failing grade, but that this is good because it means you didn't really earn the failing grade.
44. You begin to believe that all boys are timid creatures afraid of walking alone, going into a coed bathroom, etc.
45. You're not afraid to go, "ewwww boy" with a boy (often a stranger) right there.
46. You can snuggle up your friends and not be looked at funny (even with you're straight).
47. Normal dinnertime conversation consists of sex and other such things.
48. You complain that you can't get to bed at night because your 'brain is overactive!!'
49. Your first year you gained the firsty-five (+), and now you are losing weight exponentially due to your recognition of what you are actually eating.
50. You have been to at least one professor's house.
51. You have nothing better to do than be reading this list RIGHT NOW. Plenty better things to do, just too lazy!
52. Everyone around you is neo-nazi democrat, but not as liberal as those Hampshire students. Hey, I LIKE hampshire students... not all of them are hippies... well not all of them are DIRTY hippies. Some of them are really cute ^_~
53. You find yourself rummaging through your wardrobe to find that scandalous fruit of the loom accessory for convocation.
54. You live on green street and order pizza from college pizza just to see the male sex.
55. Have S.A.D., but not just in winter...go figure.
56. Feel worthless unless you have two jobs lined up for the summer, an internship during every effing break, and at least minimal contact with some alums in high places.
57. You don't want to show your parents your transcript.
58. You freak out that you got a B, and not the A+ you might have gotten at another school.
59. You realize that grade deflation makes your paltry 4.5 in high school look pathetic.
60. You get the midnight-2 AM (4 AM?) giggles and run around your floor naked purporting to take a shower, and asking if anyone nearby will take one with you! (tequila suggested but not required).
61. Bi-polarization fluctuating like a steep sign curve. HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! followed by 'damn effing hell, die die!'.
62. You have a love hate relationship to academia. Nope, just a hate-hate more one.
63. You get the feeling that smith is a nunnery, but that you have sinned, delightedly so. Nunnery? Please, more like a women's prison. Explains all the LUGs
64. You are disgusted with the gender binary system.
65. You flash acronyms around like 'HONS!' 'JYA!' 'SGA!' 'PVTA!' (or PUTA), 'RC!', 'HCA!', etc. Well I do say PVTA some times...
66. You have an unrequited interest in politics: i AM the elections, dammit! and George W. just ran all over MY self-interest..
67. DAMN. THE. MAN. no, F*CK the man!
68. You have a paradoxical fascination with becoming a drop-out stay at home mom/baby-making factory.
69. You admire the ladies who came before you: BARBIE BUSH, NANCY REAGAN, JULIA CHILD, MADELINE L'ENGLE, GLORIA STEINEM, SYLVIA PLATH..
70. You plan your ivy-day outfit from the day you step onto campus. Didn't go to Ivy Day, or Convocation (EVER), or even graduation. Not interested. I think I had to work at the Fitz anyway.
71. An overall sense of satisfaction that you go to one of the most grueling schools in the nation, and are ALIVE. I like to define myself by actions, not education.
72. If you're a friendster whore connected to the entire campus.
73. You complain about the distance you have to walk to class.
74. Dinner sucks-always.
75. You use "out" as a verb.
76. You feel instead of think everything. Thats like the THIRD time this is on the list.

82. You eat strange meals late at night: ramen with mountain dew is just one example.
83. Somehow at midterms or finals you always have more papers, exams, presentations or reports than the number of classes you are taking -- like # of classes ^2.
84. sleep? what?
85. The mere mention of the word 'tea' sends you into spasms of delight.
86. You are thinking that this list is, in some way, offensive. Not nearly as bad as my comments. ^_^

88. You've developed the compulsive urge to correct EVERYONE'S grammar and spelling ALL THE TIME.
89. The sound of a spoon against an empty glass makes you stop everything you are doing and makes your ears perk up.
90. You know that done is better than good. (always!)
91. You have to petition to live off campus. (YES MAM! I lied and said my mom got a divorce as was going to be living with me in a condo on Damon Rd. hehehe Randy didn't even ask me for proof!)
92. You and your friends have a contest to see who has the most homework.

The White King
You scored 1 Power-Finesse, 3 Leader-Follower, 2 Unique-Ordinary, and 3 Offense-Defense! | You are ambitious and want to press any advantage that you have. By using others, not doing it yourself. Occasionally you are more cautious, barricading yourself into a corner and letting your followers slug it out in the middle-- but if things are looking pretty bleak you're not afraid to jump in and finish the job yourself. | |
My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender: | You scored higher than 99% on Power-Finesse | | You scored higher than 99% on Leader-Follower | | You scored higher than 99% on Unique-Ordinary | | You scored higher than 99% on Offense-Defense |

Well, I'm heading back to the city after having hung out in Noho for this past week and a half. Shot the movie. Fantastic. Very fun, despite some douchebaggery on the half of the dirty hippie camera man who FORGOT TO CHARGE THE CAMERA BATTERY. When the director yelled at him he said, QUOTE, "You can't expect me to be in charge of EVERYTHING." When it comes to the camera, YES, you are in charge of EVERYTHING in concerns to the camera, CAMERAMAN! So we only had about fourty minutes of camera to shoot this huge outdoor scene with me and the main character. One to two takes for everything at best. I'll have to roll back into town late October to redo the sound for the dialogue, which was, reasonably, lost to the sound of cars and people on main street. It works out pretty well considering that I have to be back in town in late October to go help out at Big One, assuming they hire me as a ref. ::fingers crossed:: Either way I'm still coming up for it because I want to cheer on my sista, Suji, taking over the A slot for me ^_~ And of course to come see my hunky boyfriend. hehehe. The comp card dilemma is finally over and I have them printed out and they're pretty much what I wanted. I only did about 25. Just for while I'm getting out there getting jobs for right now. I would have liked to have printed them on a nicer stock, and perhaps offset printing. But considering the hassle I went through just to get these printed, I'm pretty chill with what I've got. The people in the copy shop didn't even know what a comp card is, depsite my implicit directions on how I wanted it printed. They showed me a proof. It was very nice, doubled side, the images I sent them. Only it was 8'X10"!! I'm like, uh this is like a business card. I need to hand this out to people. They just didn't get it. Finally I was just like, PRINT IT 5.5"X8.5"!! At least they didn't print it on computer paper. lol. I'm glad I've got them though. Now I have something to hand out with my resume when I go on those two interviews tomorrow. (more to come obviously when I get back from them tomorrow.) That is pretty much all for now. I'm sure I'll post a longer more detailed description of the past few days soon. However, Scotts falling asleep on the couch so I should roll over there and wake him up so we can spend my last few hours together before I'm gone for a month or so. ; _ ;
